Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Hirely you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What Hirely is
Hirely is a job board that connects parents seeking flexible work with employers who offer it. We are a platform — we are not an employer, a recruitment agency, or a party to any employment relationship between parents and employers.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@hirely.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. For parents
The information you provide (CV, personal note, profile) must be accurate and your own. Applying for a role sends your contact details and any uploaded CV to the employer. We cannot guarantee a response from employers, or that any role will result in employment.
5. For employers
Job listings must describe real, available positions. You must not post listings that are misleading, discriminatory, illegal, or that exist purely to harvest CVs. Hirely reserves the right to remove any listing at any time without notice. By posting a job you confirm you have the right to recruit for the position and that the role complies with applicable employment law in your jurisdiction.
6. AI features
Hirely uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide features like job matching, chat responses, interview prep, and application screening. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be relied upon as professional legal, HR, or career advice. Employers should make their own independent hiring decisions.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Hirely to: scrape content, spam users, post illegal content, impersonate others, attempt to breach security, or do anything else that damages the service or other users.
8. Intellectual property
The Hirely name, logo, and product are our property. Your uploaded content (CV, profile, job listings) remains yours — you grant us a limited licence to store and display it as needed to run the service.
9. Limitation of liability
Hirely is provided "as is". We are not liable for any employment outcomes, losses, or damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is zero for free accounts).
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
